Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice

This Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Notice has been prepared under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) regarding personal data processed by Luxhomia (“Luxhomia”, “we”) through luxhomia.com.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Luxhomia. You can reach us at info@luxhomia.com.

2. Personal data processed

  • Identity and contact: name and surname, email address, mobile phone number.
  • Booking details: selected home, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, your request note.
  • Verification data: the verification record of the one-time code sent via WhatsApp for phone verification.
  • Correspondence: your messages with us via WhatsApp and email.
  • Security and usage data: IP address, browser information, cookies and site usage statistics.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Receiving your booking request, checking availability and carrying out your stay (establishment and performance of a contract — KVKK art. 5/2-c).
  • Communicating with you before and during the stay and sending check-in details (performance of the contract).
  • Fulfilling legal obligations such as the guest identity notification (KVKK art. 5/2-ç).
  • Ensuring site security and preventing misuse (legitimate interest — KVKK art. 5/2-f).
  • Measuring site usage and improving the service (legitimate interest; your explicit consent for non-essential cookies).

4. Sharing

Your personal data may be shared only for the purposes above and to the extent necessary with: our hosting and email service providers, the messaging service provider we use for WhatsApp (Desk360 / Meta WhatsApp Business), our site analytics provider and legally authorised public authorities. Some of these providers may have servers abroad; such transfers are made in accordance with KVKK art. 9.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary for the processing purpose and for the statutory retention periods set out in the applicable legislation; afterwards it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Cookies

The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and analytics cookies that measure site usage. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn whether it is used in line with its purpose, to know the third parties it is transferred to, to request correction if incomplete or incorrect, to request deletion where the conditions are met, to object, and to claim compensation for damage. Send your requests to info@luxhomia.com; they are answered within 30 days at the latest.
