Ankara Business Travel Guide: Choosing a Daily Rental Home by Meeting Location
For business travellers Ankara splits into three zones: ministries and public institutions, technoparks and universities, and the industrial zones. Choosing your home by where your meetings are saves both time and money.

For those coming to Ankara on business, the city splits into three zones: ministries and public institutions (Kızılay–Bakanlıklar–Eskişehir Road), technoparks and universities (Bilkent, METU, Hacettepe) and the organised industrial zones (Sincan, Ostim, İvedik). Choosing your home by where your meeting is saves both time and money. This guide covers choosing a daily rental home for business travel and setting up a productive routine in Ankara.
1Where is the meeting, where should the home be?
Ministries, Parliament, public institutions
Kızılay, Bakanlıklar and central Çankaya. Kavaklıdere and Gaziosmanpaşa are within walking distance or a few minutes by taxi. The Bestekar Street apartment and the Kaptanpaşa apartment are examples in this area.
Embassies and international organisations
Gaziosmanpaşa, Çankaya and Oran. The Gaziosmanpaşa 2+1 is in the middle of the embassy district.
Eskişehir Road institutions and technoparks
Söğütözü, Bilkent, METU Technopark and Hacettepe Technopark. İncek, Çayyolu and Oran are practical by car. Sinpaş İncek Life is on this corridor.
Organised industrial zones
Ostim, İvedik and Sincan are in the west and north-west of the city. The most common choice is to stay centrally and drive; the connection from our Çankaya homes via Eskişehir Road and the ring road is easy.
2What a business-trip home needs
- Fast, stable internet: Essential for video calls. Ask before booking.
- A desk and good lighting: Working at the dining table gets tiring after two days.
- Quiet: A gated complex or side-street apartment.
- Self check-in: For late flights or meetings that run over.
- Iron, washing machine: Shrinks the suitcase on weekly trips.
- Parking: If you rented a car or drove.
- Invoice: Send your company details before booking for corporate payment.
3Travelling as a team
For teams of three or more, a 2+1 or 2+2 apartment is both cheaper than separate hotel rooms and more practical for evening meetings. Altınoran Kent 2+2 and Gaziosmanpaşa 2+1 sleep up to six.
4Tips for a productive day in Ankara
- Traffic is heavy 08:00–09:30 and 17:30–19:00; plan your departure around meeting times.
- On the Kızılay–Bakanlıklar axis the metro is fastest; the Çayyolu and Batıkent lines connect to the west of the city.
- Esenboğa Airport is far from the centre; Belko Air shuttles and taxis are the main options. For a late arrival, choose a self check-in home.
- Nightly rates drop for weekly stays; pick dates on the calendar and send a request for a tailored offer.
